According to GFK Report, Claiming a 44 per cent share smartphones, mobile phones and wearables are still the powerhouse in the $1.2 trillion technical consumer goods (TCG) market. Although global smartphone demand declined three per cent in 2018 to 1.44 billion, sales remain strong and reached $522 billion. These findings are released to coincide with Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona.
While in India alone 161 million smartphones worth over $28.5 billion were sold in the 2018 year in India. As China holds 60% of the smartphone market and India stand’s below China in second.
